Water Lilies

The lotus pond is Keerthi's signature ground, and she works it from every distance. Up close, a single pad becomes a stage for water: droplets sit on the waxy surface like cut glass, each one carrying its own bent reflection. Sometimes the leaf floats on a truthfully painted pond with koi moving beneath it; just as often she lifts it onto a field of saturated colour - turquoise, red, magenta, chrome yellow - so the specimen reads with the clarity of a plate in a botanist's book.

/ Leaves

Close studies of lotus pads and their beaded water, half naturalist, half graphic.

/ Flowers

The pond seen wide: pads flattened into mosaics of jewel colour, with photoreal pink blooms surfacing among them.

/ Lotus Pods

Seed pods studied like portraits - fresh and dried, isolated on flat colour.
