Cropped hard, a single green pad occupies the right of this small panel while the rest is a flat wash of cobalt blue. Water beads across the leaf in droplets rendered like cut glass, each one carrying a bright highlight and a shadow that lets it sit on the surface.

The radiating veins and the browned notch at the leaf's join are described with quiet precision. Against the plain blue, the tactile realism of the droplets reads almost like a scientific plate turned into something serene.
